Central Racing Pigeon Club (CRPC) forms part of the Malta Federation of Pigeon Racing Clubs. Our club was established in 1985. The club's federation code number is determined according to the year the club was officially founded. As the club was the 11th club to open on the island our Federation code is 11. At present there are 25 clubs, 23 in Malta and 2 in Gozo.

Most of the members of our club hail from Mosta, however there are also members with lofts in Mellieha, St Paul's Bay, Gharghur, Naxxar, Attard, and B'Kara. The area comprises the central and northern parts of Malta. Presently the number of members at the club amounts to more than 45. These are the people who actually race pigeons and participate in the club's activities.

The Club has its own statute and race regulations which help in the administration and running of the organisation. The Club Committee is made up of 11 members who are elected on a yearly basis. Work is delegated and carried out by the Committee to ensure the Club operates well, for the members' satisfaction. Members of the Committee have different roles and responsibilities, however all of them are important.

Apart from racing, our main activity is the presentation of the trophies and prizes to all our winners of the past racing season. Earlier this year we had an auction of pigeons which the Club bought from Louis Massarella. This event was a success due to the various top breeding strains available and the reasonable starting price of the birds.  Before every season we also have the annual general meeting for changes in the statute of the club and for the election of the new committee.
